Bangkok, 18 August 2025 – Lalamove, the leading on-demand delivery platform, has partnered with the Zendai Foundation to organize ‘Lalamove Delivers Love to Mom’ a free health check-up event for female driver partners in celebration of National Mother’s Day. This initiative aims to promote the health and enhance the quality of life of Lalamove’s driver partners, particularly women who are also mothers. This initiative is part of Deliver Care, Lalamove’s CSR programme dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities it serves.
The health check-up service is offered to Lalamove driver partners free of charge and includes both physical and mental health screenings. Services provided include a basic physical examination, diabetes and hypertension risk assessments, blood tests for glucose and cholesterol levels, kidney and liver function tests, and an initial mental health evaluation. A team of doctors and medical professionals from the Zendai Foundation is on-site to offer health advice and recommend appropriate self-care practices.
Mr. Ben Lin, Managing Director of Lalamove Thailand, stated: “Our driver partners are the backbone of Lalamove’s services. We believe that a good quality of life, especially good health, allows them to work with confidence and deliver efficient service. This reflects our core belief that ‘Health and safety foster confidence in every delivery.’ Currently, more than 20% of Lalamove driver partners are women, many of whom are mothers. This health check-up initiative reinforces our commitment to supporting their well-being and recognizing the valuable contributions of female drivers who balance both their work and responsibilities as mothers.”
Mr. Chris Potranandana, Chairman and Founder of Zendai Foundation stated: “Zendai Foundation is honored to help expand healthcare access for independent workers, especially hardworking driver partners who often face barriers to medical services. This collaboration with Lalamove marks a meaningful step toward creating tangible social impact, showcasing how the private sector can play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for this essential segment of the workforce.”
Ms. Matthana Sukcharoen, a Lalamove driver partner from Thailand, shared: “Normally, I have to work while also fulfilling my role as a mother, which leaves me with little time to look after my own health. I truly appreciate Lalamove for organizing such a meaningful activity, which makes me feel that Lalamove does not see us as just driver partners, but also recognizes and values our role as mothers, and is genuinely committed to supporting us in every aspect of our lives. In addition, being a Lalamove driver partner gives me the flexibility to manage my schedule, allowing me to care for my children while also earning additional income to support my family.”
