Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) hosted the seminar “SCB WEALTH: Holistic Wealth Forum 2025” under the theme Storm Shift, bringing together leading national and global experts to analyze the economic outlook for 2026, which is seen as a pivotal year amid a storm of change in geopolitics, AI technology, and the global economic structure undergoing major transformation. The event also aimed to enhance comprehensive knowledge in wealth management, along with strategies for preserving, growing, and sustainably transferring wealth, providing clients with an investment compass to prepare for 2026.
SCB, led by Mr. Kris Chantanotoke, Chief Executive Officer (center), together with Mr. Vitoon Pornsakulvanich (7th from right), Chief Consumer Banking Officer, and executives, welcomed Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi (9th from right), Secretary General of the Board of Investment (BOI); Mr. Asadej Kongsiri (6th from right), President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET); Mr. George Maltezos (11th from right), Head of BlackRock Capital Formation Team (CFT) in Asia Pacific and Head of Southeast Asia Institutional Client Business; Mr. Thanapol Itthinitipak (5th from right), Head of Thailand Business, BlackRock; Mr. Thanarat Pasawongse (4th from right), Chief Executive Officer of Hua Seng Heng Group; Ms. Sutida Mongkolsuthree (12th from right), Chief Executive Officer of Synnex (Thailand) PCL; and Mr. Nitikan Ramanat, Partner at Baker&McKenzie Limited, who honored the event as guest speakers.
The speakers shared in-depth perspectives on future investment opportunities, covering a wide range of topics. They discussed Thailand’s golden opportunities amid global economic turbulence, the role of the Thai capital market in driving the New Economy and attracting foreign investors to strengthen the Thai economy, the megatrend of AI infrastructure reshaping the global economic structure, the outlook for gold prices and the Thai baht, as well as strategies for sustainable family business succession through key tools such as family offices and family constitutions.
