THAI Accelerates Delivery of Delayed Baggage at Suvarnabhumi Airport

 



Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) is accelerating the efforts to manage and deliver passengers’ delayed baggage at Suvarnabhumi Airport. THAI has deployed additional personnel and resources to accelerate the sorting, handling, and delivery of baggage to passengers as quickly as possible.


Mr. Chai Eamsiri, THAI's Chief Executive Officer, said: “I sincerely apologize to all passengers for the inconvenience caused. Thai Airways is making every effort to ensure that passengers are reunited with their baggage as soon as possible. We will continue to closely monitor the situation until all affected baggage has been successfully delivered.”


At present, baggage from 52 flights operated on 26–27 September 2026 is in the process of being delivered to passengers who have already registered their details. The delivery process will continue until all remaining baggage has been returned.


For flight operations on 28 September 2026, 34 flights experienced delays. 


Thai Airways apologizes to passengers for the disruption and appreciates their understanding and cooperation. Passengers who have already registered their baggage can track or arrange for its return through the following channels:


* For passengers collecting baggage in person: Please contact the Baggage Services Office on Level 2, in front of the Domestic Arrivals Exit, between 06:30 and 23:30 hrs. Tel. +66 2 134 5373–74


* For passengers who have registered their baggage information via QR Code: Thai Airways will arrange delivery of the baggage to the address provided during registration.


* Passengers who have not yet registered their baggage, or who require further information, may contact:


* Domestic flights: +66 2 134 5373–74

* International flights: +66 2 134 5466–68


The staff will contact passengers by telephone or email to verify their information before arranging baggage delivery.


THAI sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and disruption caused by the situation. THAI continues to expedite the handling and delivery of delayed baggage to ensure that passengers receive their belongings as soon as possible.
