The Senior Inspector General urgently went to Mae Sot District, Tak Province, to follow up on the case of 'Xing Xing', a missing Chinese actor, emphasizing clarity in the investigation after circumstances resembling human trafficking were reported.

 


Today (January 7, 2025) at 12:00 PM, Pol. Gen. Thatchai Pitaneelaboot, the Senior Inspector General and the director of the Child, Women, and Family Protection Center to combat human trafficking and fisheries (TICAC), along with Pol. Lt. Gen. Kitisak Durongkawiboon, Commissioner of the Police Region 6, and Pol. Maj. Gen. Phongsiam Meekhanthong, Deputy Commissioner of the Tourist Police, urgently visited Mae Sot District, Tak Province, to follow the progress of the disappearance of Mr. Xing Xing or Wang Xing, a Chinese national. According to reports from the Immigration Bureau, officials have brought images of the missing actor into the biometric system, confirming that Mr. Wang Xing entered Thailand on January 3, 2025, at approximately 3:00 AM, traveling from Pudong Airport in the People's Republic of China and landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand, without providing accommodation details.


Pol. Gen. Thatchai stated that it has now been confirmed that Mr. Wang Xing has been found, and the authorities will go to Mae Sot to take him. He emphasized that all relevant agencies must expedite the process and clarify the situation as much as possible, given that the incident closely resembles human trafficking activities.
