“2025 Outstanding Role Model Organization Award for Human Rights” in the large-scale business organization category for the fourth consecutive year, presented by the Department of Rights and Liberties Protection, Ministry of Justice. This prestigious recognition reaffirms EGCO Group’s commitment to operating as a leading international power and energy-related company that integrates human rights principles across its entire value chain, creating positive impacts within the organization and extending sustainable benefits to society at large. Mr. Thawat Hirancharukorn, Executive Vice President - Asset Management of EGCO Group, recently accepted the award on behalf of the company from Police Colonel Tawee Sodsong, Minister of Justice, at the Asawin Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok.


Mr. Thawat Hirancharukorn, Executive Vice President – Asset Management of EGCO Group emphasized that EGCO Group places great importance on respecting human rights, which are fundamental rights that everyone is entitled to equally. The company has established a written Human Rights Policy, ensuring communication and promotion of fair practices among employees at all levels and all stakeholders throughout its business value chain. The policy is built on principles of equality, respect for differences, diversity and inclusion, non-discrimination, and zero tolerance for harassment and child labor, embedding these values into the corporate culture. EGCO Group also maintains effective whistleblowing and investigation mechanisms to address complaints and ensure accountability.

The Department of Rights and Liberties Protection, Ministry of Justice, conducts annual assessments to recognize exemplary organizations that respect and integrate human rights principles into their operations. The awards cover government agencies, state enterprises, private businesses, civil society organizations, and community dispute mediation centers. In 2025, a total of 157 organizations across various sectors were selected as award recipients, serving as role models in fostering a sustainable culture of human rights in Thai society.
