Thai Credit Bank Organizes "Tang To Know-how: Community Business Empowerment – Unlocking Success for OTOP Entrepreneurs" Training Program in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya



Bangkok, 23th July 2026 - Thai Credit Bank Public Company Limited continues its commitment to empowering grassroots entrepreneurs under its "Everyone Matters" philosophy and Sustainability Banking strategy by organizing the "Tang To Know-how: Community Business Empowerment – Unlocking Success for OTOP Entrepreneurs" training program. The initiative aims to strengthen the business capabilities of OTOP entrepreneurs in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province by equipping them with practical knowledge and essential business management skills, enabling them to adapt and thrive in today's digital economy.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Ms. Wachiraporn Chaengiam, Provincial Community Development Officer of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, who delivered the opening remarks and encouraged OTOP entrepreneurs to participate. Representing Thai Credit Bank were Ms. Khemruthai Asavanon, Senior Vice President, Micro Economic Development Department and founder of the Tang To Know-how initiative, together with Mr. Pitak Kruaglad, Department Head of Central Region 1 Microfinance Lending, who joined the event and shared insights on strengthening entrepreneurial capabilities. The training was held on Tuesday, 21 July 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Dahla Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Krungsri River Hotel, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.

On this occasion, Ms. Khemruthai Asavanon, Senior Vice President, Micro Economic Development Department, Thai Credit Bank Public Company Limited, stated that the Bank remains committed to supporting small entrepreneurs and community businesses, recognizing them as key drivers of Thailand's grassroots economy. As entrepreneurs continue to face evolving economic conditions, changing consumer behavior, and rapid technological advancement, the Bank provides practical knowledge and business tools that enable them to adapt, strengthen their competitiveness, and achieve sustainable growth.

Now in its tenth consecutive year, the Tang To Know-how program continues to promote equitable access to business and financial knowledge for small entrepreneurs and community enterprises. The training curriculum is designed with practical applications in mind, covering business planning and community enterprise development, branding and business image enhancement, the use of digital tools and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve operational efficiency, as well as systematic financial management. The program also features a special session on "Bringing Products into Modern Trade", providing participants with practical strategies and market insights to help expand distribution channels, enhance product value, and unlock new business opportunities.

This initiative reflects the strong collaboration among the public sector, the financial sector, and the business community in enhancing the capabilities of OTOP entrepreneurs. By helping them create greater value for their products, improve competitiveness, expand market opportunities, and achieve sustainable growth, the program contributes to strengthening Thailand's grassroots economy and promoting long-term sustainable economic development.
