Bangkok, Thailand – 3/12/2025 - Money20/20, the world’s leading fintech show, and the place where money does business, held a press preview today at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok, offering an exclusive sneak peek into Asia’s leading fintech show happening on April 22-24 at the QSNCC. The press conference brought together top industry leaders, media, and influencers for an afternoon of insightful discussions and networking, highlighting how Money20/20 Asia is shaping the future of finance in the region.
The event featured an engaging agenda filled with expert-led discussions on the growth and development of fintech, with a particular focus on its impact on Thailand and the broader APAC region. Danny Levy, Managing Director of Asia at Money20/20 provided an overview of what attendees can expect from the upcoming Money20/20 Asia 2025. He highlighted key themes, keynote speakers, and the incredible stages at the show, and the powerful opportunities for growth, networking, and knowledge-sharing happening at Money20/20 Asia.
Also attending and speaking at the press preview was Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, President of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), emphasizing the strategic importance of Thailand as a hub for fintech and innovation in the region.

A highlight of the afternoon was the panel discussion, which featured prominent industry leaders in the fintech and financial service space, including Axel Winter, CEO of Xponential, Dr. Chalee Asavathiratham, President of the Lightnet Group and Senior Advisor of the Lightnet-WeLab Consortium, Adisorn Hatairatana, Head of Consumer Credit Risk Model Management and Technology at Krungsri Bank, Chatchai Khunpitiluck, SEVP and COO (Digital Ecosystem Promotion Unit) at Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa),and Dr. Krithpaka Boonfueng, Executive Director at National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) of Thailand (NIA). The panelists shared their insights on the ongoing transformation of the financial services industry and the rapid developments shaping the future of digital ecosystems in Asia.
Money20/20 Asia also announced a partnership with VentureSpark, a sector-agnostic, early-stage accelerator program established by A2D Ventures to enable Thailand-based startups to unlock growth, supported by global mentors, experts, and venture capital funding. On April 22 between 1-3pm Money20/20 and Venturespark will host a demo day where Thailand-based startups with global market reach will pitch their businesses to regional and global VCs, industry leaders and corporates. Five top-performing startups will receive investments of up to 50,000 USD, access to VentureSparks extensive network, several matchmaking funds through a fast- track program supported by government agencies and more.
