“Road to Number One – Together We Stand Strong” Bangchak Group Congratulates Kunlavut Vitidsarn, Thailand’s First Men’s Singles Badminton World No. 1
On 4 July 2025, Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, together with Bangchak Group executives and employees, congratulated “View” Kunlavut Vitidsarn, the first Thai male badminton player to reach the World No. 1 ranking, marking a new chapter in the history of Thai sports. Joining the celebration were “May” Ratchanok Intanon, Thailand’s former World No. 1 female badminton player in 2016, and
“Coach Pae” Phattaphon Ngernsrisuk, Director of Banthongyord Badminton School, is a key figure behind both athletes’ success. The event, titled “Road to Number One: Together We Stand Strong,” was held at Bangchak Headquarters at M Tower.
Mr. Chaiwat expressed his congratulations and presented Bangchak Hi Premium cash cards, along with commemorative gifts, to View – Kunlavut. He also presented fuel cards and gifts to May–Ratchanok and a commemorative gift to Coach Pae – Phattaphon. Bangchak Group, a long-standing supporter of Banthongyord Badminton School for over a decade, takes pride in helping Thai athletes reach the world stage and promoting the sustainable growth of Thai sports.
During the “Road to Number One” session, Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, Bangchak Corporation Plc., engaged in a conversation with Coach Pae, May, and View, exploring their journeys as athletes, from their early beginnings, training routines, and sources of inspiration, and how they persevered through challenges, to their growth both on and off the court. Employees were then invited to join the conversation, participate in a souvenir giveaway from Banthongyord, and take photos with their favorite athletes, sharing positive energy in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
For their upcoming competition, “View” and “May” will participate in the major World Tour event, the “Japan Open 2025,” scheduled for 15–20 July in Tokyo, Japan.
