Kaspersky reports positive 2025 SEA financial results

Kaspersky recorded positive business growth across Southeast Asia (SEA) in 2025, with overall sales increasing by 8%* year-on-year (YoY), driven by growing demand for advanced cybersecurity solutions. The company’s B2B business in the region also grew by 8% YoY, while Kaspersky Next – its flagship AI-powered enterprise cybersecurity solution combining EDR and XDR capabilities, recorded more than three-fold YoY growth.

In 2025, Kaspersky’s business development across SEA progressed against the backdrop of an increasingly complex cyberthreat landscape, with the company detecting more than 18 million web-based threats targeting organisations in the region alongside millions of incidents involving password stealers and exploit-based attacks. As digital transformation accelerates across SEA, companies are increasingly moving beyond traditional endpoint protection towards more integrated security approaches focused on visibility, threat detection and operational response to strengthen cyber resilience across interconnected digital environments.

Across SEA, Kaspersky’s B2B portfolio sales grew by 8% YoY in 2025, reflecting organizations’ continued demand for integrated and intelligence-led cybersecurity solutions.

Presented in early 2024, Kaspersky Next**, the company’s flagship AI-powered enterprise cybersecurity product line that provides real-time protection, threat visibility, investigation and response through EDR and XDR technologies, recorded remarkable growth of 252% YoY across SEA in 2025. Within the portfolio, Kaspersky Next EDR Foundations, built for small and medium-sized businesses with lean IT and security resources, grew by nearly seven-fold YoY, reflecting rising adoption of advanced detection and response solutions among organisations seeking stronger operational visibility and faster incident response.

Increased Demand for Consumer Digital Security Solutions

Kaspersky’s B2C business across SEA grew by 9% YoY in 2025 as consumers across the region continued seeking comprehensive digital security and privacy protection to meet the demands of mobile-first and digitally connected lifestyles. The company’s consumer product line including Kaspersky Standard, Plus and Premium solutions with expanded protection and service offerings, also recorded 19% YoY growth across SEA.

Globally, the B2C business crossed another milestone by growing its consumer based to 70 million unique users in 2025 and increasing its subscription-based consumer base by 4%.

The company also broadened its consumer offerings for the SEA consumers with the launch of Kaspersky eSIM Store – a connectivity solution that provides travellers with secure mobile internet access across multiple destinations worldwide. Kaspersky further enhanced its mobile protection capabilities with Notification Protection for Android – an anti-phishing feature that detects and removes suspicious links from mobile notifications, messaging apps and SMS before users interact with them.

Driving Innovation and Regional Expansion

Last year, Kaspersky introduced new enterprise solutions designed to address changing operational security needs, including Kaspersky Next XDR Optimum and Kaspersky Next MXDR Optimum geared for small and midsized businesses.

Kaspersky also continued strengthening its presence across SEA in 2025 with expanded regional leadership and operations to support business growth and deepen engagement across the region’s cybersecurity landscape.

“Across SEA, cybersecurity is becoming increasingly embedded into how businesses and consumers work, connect and operate in digital environments. From operational technology and enterprise infrastructure to everyday mobile connectivity, we observe growing demand for solutions that provide greater visibility, faster response capabilities and more seamless protection experiences. As the region continues accelerating its transformation and digital economy ambitions, we will continue advancing our technologies, regional capabilities, offerings and talent to support the region’s rapidly changing cybersecurity needs,” said Adrian Hia, Managing Director for Asia Pacific at Kaspersky.

Globally, Kaspersky reported positive sales results in 2025, with overall business growth reaching 4% YoY and revenue approaching USD836 million***. This growth was principally driven by a 16% YoY in sales of the company’s B2B product portfolio.
