Lalamove Launches ‘Serve with Care’ Workshop to Upskill Driver Partners Strengthening Lalamove Ride service standards to support growing ride-hailing demand

 


Bangkok, 18 March 2026 — Lalamove, the on-demand delivery and ride-hailing platform, reaffirms its commitment to enhancing service quality and strengthening the long-term professional skills of its driver partners through a special training workshop under the concept of “Serve with Care.” The initiative focuses on building soft skills and a strong service mindset to help driver partners deliver consistently positive experiences for users. The program is designed for driver partners of Lalamove Ride, the platform’s ride-hailing service, recognized for its convenience, simplicity, and affordability.

Following the launch of Lalamove Ride, service demand has increased by nearly threefold year-on-year (January 2025 vs. January 2026), reflecting increasing consumer uptake of ride-hailing on the Lalamove platform. In response to this momentum, Lalamove is placing strong emphasis on elevating driver-partner standards to support continued expansion and meet growing ride-hailing demand.

This workshop was led by renowned trainer “Jarid Krutui”, an expert in personality development and communication skills, who shared essential soft skills for modern service professionals. Key topics included: cultivating a positive, growth-oriented mindset for service excellence (Mindset); developing emotional intelligence to deliver calm, consistent service in a variety of situations (Service Mind); maintaining a professional and trustworthy appearance (Self-Care); improving voice technique and clear, confident communication (Voice & Communication); and applying appropriate service etiquette (Manners).




Asst. Prof. Dr. Apichot Katekeaw (Kru Tui) highlighted the value of the workshop and service-minded skills, saying:
 “Today, passengers have many choices, so creating a good impression goes beyond reaching the destination safely—it’s about the experience from the very first moment. This workshop focuses on essential, long-term professional skills, including service mindset, emotional intelligence, clear communication, and proper etiquette, that driver partners can apply on every trip. When drivers can handle different situations with confidence, trust comes naturally, resulting in customer satisfaction and more repeat service opportunities in the long run.”

Arthit Khamchareon, one of the participating driver partners, said: “This workshop helped me build essential professional skills, especially in communication and service mindset. I am grateful to Lalamove for initiating this workshop—it’s truly beneficial for driver partners. When passengers feel comfortable and trust us throughout the ride, they are more likely to ride with us again, creating additional income opportunities over time.”
