BJC Ranked No.1 Globally in Food & Staples Retailing for the Fourth Consecutive Year and Recognized in the “Sustainability Yearbook 2026” by S&P Global for the Sixth Year

 


Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (BJC) reinforces its position as a global sustainability leader after being ranked No.1 in the world in the Food & Staples Retailing industry by S&P Global for the fourth consecutive year. The company was also recognized among the Top 1% of the world’s most sustainable companies and has been included in the Sustainability Yearbook for the sixth consecutive year.

 

Mrs. Thapanee Techajareonvikul, S Ceo & President of BJC, represented BJC in receiving the distinction award at the “S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026 Distinction Ceremony”, held on 11 May 2026 at Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai. The award was presented by Mr. Robert Dornau Head of Corporate solution of S&P Global Sustainable1. In addition, Mrs. Thapanee were invited to participate in a Panel Fireside Dialogue session under the topic “From ESG to Enterprise Value: The C-suite’s Playbook for ROI in Sustainability”. The discussion focused on how sustainability strategies can create tangible enterprise value through the role of top executives in embedding ESG at the core of the organization, while enhancing operational efficiency, competitiveness, and long-term sustainable growth.

 

Mrs. Thapanee Techajareonvikul said that, “BJC believes that sustainability is not merely a corporate responsibility, but a key strategy for long-term growth. We have integrated ESG into our business operations and decision-making processes at every level of the organization to create shared value for all stakeholders. This achievement also reflects the strong collaboration among our employees, suppliers, farmers, business partners, and stakeholders across the value chain, who have worked together to drive balanced growth across business, social, and environmental dimensions in a sustainable manner.”

 

In 2025, BJC achieved a sustainability score of 92 out of 100, maintaining the highest score in the company’s history since participating in the assessment. This accomplishment reflects BJC’s strong commitment to responsible business operations under ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) principles, while continuously creating sustainable shared value for stakeholders across all sectors. This achievement marks another important milestone for BJC as a Thai company recognized on the global stage.
