Bangkok – 25 May 2026 – J&T Express, a leading global logistics service provider, continues to strengthen its sustainability commitment through the J&T Forest project. Recently, the J&T Express team, together with the Royal Forest Department and led by Ms. Arthitaya Saengsan, Forest Academic Officer of the Royal Forest Department, conducted a field visit to monitor the project's progress and ecosystem restoration efforts within the Kheaw Ra Bom and Yat Si National Reserved Forests in Chachoengsao Province. The visit focused on assessing tree growth and supporting ongoing forest restoration activities as part of long-term natural resource conservation efforts.
The project is a key component of J&T Express’s 10-year environmental roadmap, which aims to restore ecosystems and expand green spaces in a sustainable manner. Since its launch, more than 2,000 trees have been planted across over 10 rai of land, with continuous maintenance, monitoring, and evaluation carried out in close collaboration with the Royal Forest Department to ensure long-term environmental impact and sustainable outcomes.
In 2026, marking the third year of implementation under this collaborative framework, the project team carried out supplementary and replacement planting of an additional 100 trees, including native species such as Yang Na (Dipterocarpus alatus), Takhian Thong (Hopea odorata), and Daeng (Xylia xylocarpa). These efforts are intended to enhance forest restoration outcomes and strengthen long-term ecosystem resilience. Monitoring results indicate that trees planted during previous phases have achieved a survival rate of over 90% and continue to demonstrate healthy growth, reflecting the effectiveness of the project’s systematic approach to forest restoration and sustainable forest management.
This ongoing collaboration reaffirms J&T Express’s commitment to advancing environmental sustainability under its ESG framework through strategic public-private partnerships. By creating long-term environmental value, supporting natural resource conservation, and contributing to the restoration of healthy and resilient ecosystems, the initiative helps build a more sustainable future for generations.
