Mr. Winyou Chaiyawan stated that “Thai Credit Bank places strong importance on sustainable community development. Through comprehensive assessments of local quality of life, the bank recognized that strengthening financial capability alone is not sufficient. Sustainable development must also include infrastructure improvement, career creation, and long-term enhancement of people’s well-being.
The “Central Kitchen” has therefore been designed to be more than just a food preparation facility. It is intended to become a center for creating career opportunities and adding value to community products, enabling them to be developed into standardized products under the “Ban Mankong Bang Phlat” brand and expanded into broader markets in the future.
The Ban Mankong Prachasamakkee Community was selected as a pilot area for the project due to its strong internal foundation, including transparent cooperative management, financial discipline among members, and visionary community leadership — all of which are essential factors for long-term sustainable development.”
In addition to delivering the “Central Kitchen” to support careers and improve quality of life, Thai Credit Bank has continuously carried out community development activities under the “Creating Sustainable Futures: Community Empowerment Project” in collaboration with various partner organizations. Previous activities included training programs on waste management and the circular economy for residents of the Ban Mankong Prachasamakkee Community.
ThaiNamthip Corporation Public Company Limited and the ThaiNamthip Foundation, together with WasteBuy Delivery Co., Ltd., provided knowledge on waste separation and transforming recyclable waste into income under the “Smart Waste Less Warm” concept. Meanwhile, SCG Packaging Public Company Limited shared expertise on Circular Economy and food waste management to help reduce waste and maximize the value of community resources. CJ Express Group Co., Ltd. also contributed by supporting and helping to shape long-term community development plans.
This collaboration reflects Thai Credit Bank’s commitment to being “More Than a Financial Institution” by supporting career creation, knowledge development, and sustainable improvements in the quality of life of communities in every dimension.
Thai Credit Bank believes that this Central Kitchen project will become a model for community development that can be expanded to other areas across the country, while also serving as an inspiration for building a stronger and more sustainable society for Thailand.
